According to recent data from the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, the Winter Garden community had 40% more sales in 2017 than any other ZIP code in the ORRA coverage area.
It’s safe to say that activity in the new Horizon West communities of Hamlin and Independence are fueling the area’s increased sales volume, although Winter Garden’s historic downtown and easy access to all kinds of outdoor recreational amenities certainly doesn’t hurt.
Other top-selling communities around Seminole and Orange Counties include Oviedo, Waterford Lakes, and Windermere, which each has over 1,000 sales by ORRA members in 2017 alone.
Despite Winter Garden and Oviedo being on the outskirts of all the action, affordability and steady growth are continuing to drive more and more home buyers to the area, which is a trend that isn’t expected to slowdown anytime soon, and especially as we inch closer and closer to the busy spring market.
